Procedure
Submissions for the Symposium on Point-Based Graphics are completely electronic,
and both the paper and all supplementary material must be submitted through
the online submission website.
Paper Format
The Symposium on Point-Based Graphics accepts only original, unpublished
work. All papers should be prepared preferrably using the Latex style
file provided on the online submission website. They must be written and
presented in English. Papers may be up to 8-10 pages long, but conciseness
is encouraged: reviewers will be instructed to weigh the contribution
of each paper relative to its length. Papers will be published in black
and white, and may include a one-page color plate to be included in a
separate section of the proceedings.
Important Deadlines
April 7, 2004:
Authors should submit a tentative title, abstract, and contact information
for each paper being submitted.
April 9, 2004:
The final version of the paper in PDF format, together with any supplementary
material, is due by 23:59 UTC. There will be no deadline extension.
May 10, 2004:
Author notification.
May 17, 2004:
Submission of camera ready copies.
Upon Acceptance
The turnaround time for submitting camera-ready versions of accepted papers
is extremely short, so we request that authors be prepared to make all
revisions by May 17, 2004. All papers to be published must be accompanied
by a signed copyright form. It is expected that at least one author of
every accepted paper will attend the symposium to present the work. Supplemental
electronic material submitted with accepted papers will be published on
a CD-ROM.
