Physically-based Simulation in Computer Graphics (SS 2006)

Course Topics

The lecture covers topics in physically-based modeling, such as particle systems, mass-spring models, and finite element methods. These approaches can be used to represent deformable objects or fluids for 3D games and medical applications. Furthermore, the lecture covers topics such as rigid bodies, collision detection, and fracture simulation.

Targets

Understanding of research topics and related problems in the field of rigid body dynamics, deformable models, fluids, and collision detection.

Requirements

None.
